First Article Inspection

Before production begins, Mill Man Mavrik performs a First Article Inspection on 100% of drawing dimensions.

  • Every dimension on the customer drawing is inspected
  • Results are verified and approved by Quality Control
  • Production does not begin until first article approval is granted

Purpose : Before production begins, Mill Man Mavrik performs a First Article Inspection on 100% of drawing dimensions.

Controlled Production Release

Once the first article is approved by QC:

  • Production is formally released
  • Manufacturing proceeds under defined inspection sampling requirements
  • QC checkpoints are integrated into the production schedule

Purpose : This ensures quality is validated before, during, and after manufacturing.

In-Process Dimensional Inspection

During production, Mill Man Mavrik performs 100% dimensional inspection on a defined percentage of parts throughout the entire run.

  • Sampling rates are applied consistently until order completion
  • Inspections are distributed across the run
  • Variability is identified early, not after full production

Purpose : To ensure dimensional consistency, process stability, and early detection of deviation.

Continuous Documentation & Traceability

All inspected dimensions are recorded in a formal Dimensional Inspection Report.

  • Data is captured during the manufacturing process
  • Reports demonstrate compliance with customer drawings and applicable standards
  • Documentation provides traceability and verification for every order

Purpose : This creates a transparent quality record that customers can rely on without duplicating inspections.
